It’s Time to Pop Your Hood & Show Us What You Got
There’s something majestic about old-fashioned cars. Perhaps it’s their iconic look or attention-to-detail design, which modern cars fail to emulate. If you find yourself wishing that you could take a trip back in time just to see these cars out on the road, then you’ll want to start planning a trip to one of the Jersey Shore’s most underappreciated events- a cruise night! Get together with friends and family while examining hundreds of antique vehicles, grab something to eat at one of the local restaurants, and make some summer memories! Unfortunately, these events are often overlooked in favor of flashier outings, so Relish is here to enlighten you on upcoming cruise nights at N.J. shore towns!
Automobile Club of Ocean County's 39th Annual Car Show

If you happen to be an antique vehicle collector yourself, this is the place to be. In this annual car show hosted by the Vintage Automobile Club of New Jersey, cars who are over 25 years old are competing to win one of nearly 80 trophies! In addition, all spectators get in free. This is the perfect event to bring some friends to. It’s held in the beautiful shore town of Seaside Heights, which will serve as the perfect backdrop to your cars.
Hot Rods & Handlebars Cruises at D'Jais
(Sun, September 16, 2018 [rain date 9/23])
(Sun, October 14, 2018 [rain date 10/21])
These cruise nights are very convenient for anyone who lives in Belmar as they’re held at the boardwalk in front of D’Jais. Cars will be lined up on Ocean Ave from 5-9 p.m. on August 13. They will also be there from 12 to 5 p.m. on September 16 and October 14. There are a ton of hot rods and antique motorcycles to see, as the name implies. Best of all, it’s located close enough to Relish that you can grab some dogs, take a quick drive, and see the cars!
Whether you’re looking to compete or watch the competition, these events will satisfy all of your automobile needs. We’ve chosen these cruise nights for their sensational shore locations, putting you near plenty of other things to do.
